The Horsemanship Program in FMOS

The horsemanship program is 90 credits and the average pace is three terms, the students reach qualifications on level two as a groom. A groom works as an assistant in the field of horsemanship activities, such as horse ranches, horse related tourist services or in other comparable fields. The groom cares for the horses and assists with the training. He assists the customers of horse rentals or other related companies. He can also guide people about the basic elements of horsemanship.

 The final goals of the horsemanship program are:

That students:

  • get the opportunity to study in their field of interest,
  • gain qualification to work as an assistant in any sort of horse related field,
  • can practice primary assignments regarding care for horses and their training.
